Give myself a break. I am not even designed to be perfect, it is a expectation that I allow myself and others to put on me. Fantastic speaker at conferences but I find her books boring to read and listen to, and don't keep my attention. What reaction did this book spark in you?

Anger, sadness, disappointment? Disappointed in the audio. I found the narrator's voice irritating and would never buy an audio with this narrator again no matter how good the content. Any additional comments? Joyce Meyer is a fantastic, engaging, lively speaker at her conferences.

Eat the Cookie...Buy the Shoes

Don't write her off because her books may be dull, boring or read in an irritating manner. I would recommend listening to her speaking recorded live at a conference rather than books.

I struggled to enjoy the story because the narrator was not a good reader. She is dry and dull no personality and I know Joyce Meyers is very animated. This audio started out very interesting and informative but once the religous references started it was more of an onslaught of proverbs and bible references than realistically useful guidance.

I bought this audiobook on a whim, but I should have looked into the author first. This book is for Christians, packed with Bible verses and the belief that the listener is a fellow Christian. There are so many references to God I was surprised He wasn't mentioned in the publisher's synopsis.

I am an atheist, and while she makes her feelings on atheists clear, I tried to keep an open mind. My score is based on the fact that I was not the intended audience. Answered my confusion and blessed me. Get this book! Change your thinking for the better.
